The beauty and power of horses has always captivated me. There is nothing like a horse in the sunshine, with their coat shining and reflecting colors. I love to paint horses in all of their glory, whether they are running, standing, being ridden, or just being themselves. They are like living sculpture. From silly, curious foals, to the powerful Mustang stallions, the tender broodmares and the dignified working horses, they are all gorgeous. Their history with people, especially the Indigenous people of this continent, is a subject that I love to depict. Horses and their partnership with humans is a fascinating and captivating subject.
